What can stewards and committee people do to keep up to the minute? Your stewards’ manual suggests:

• Establish and maintain regular contact with the members you represent as a union steward.

• Maintain regular contact with your fellow stewards, business, officers and committee members.

• Attend Stewards meetings, which are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:30 P.M. (suspended Summer 2005 by vote).

• Attend general membership meetings, which are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 1p.m. and 8p.m. (suspended Summer 2005 by vote).

In addition, we suggest participating in one or more of the following activities:
