Business Agents

Trevor Lawrence

A Local 638 member since 1995, Trevor has more than 28 years in the labor movement as an Organizer and Business Agent. He is an active Teamsters JC32 representative and a Union Trustee, where he focuses on the Local 638 Health and Welfare, Eye and Dental Fund. In addition, Trevor is a member of a number of committees, including: Teamster Service Bureau Community Task Force, Local 638 Representative for the Twin City Area Labor Management Council and the steering committee of the Workers' Interfaith Network. Other responsibilities consist of the Nellie Stone Johnson Scholarship Committee, President of the Minnesota Chapter Teamsters National Black Caucus and as Secretary and member of the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Film and TV Board.

Al Thomas

Al first started as a member of Teamster Local 123 in Bismarck, North Dakota in 1973. He served as President for 9 years and then as Principal Officer from 1998 until December 2005 when Local 123 merged with Teamsters Local 638. In addition to his duties and responsibilities with Local 123, Al also served as co-chairman for the UPS Tri-State and the North and South Dakota Freight Grievances Panel.

Tom Bucher

A Local 638 member since 1979, Tom was appointed as a Business Agent in February 2002. Currently, he is assigned to represent Local 638 members working at UPS, is an active member of D.R.I.V.E. and has served as a Committee Person and elected Local 638/UPS Shop Steward. In addition, Tom is a graduate of the Teamsters Leadership Academy - Washington D.C.

Quinten Hausauer

Quinten started at UPS as a part-timer in 1992 and served as a steward for 10 years. In 2000 he was appointed to the Executive Board of Local 123. Quinten also served as a business agent with Local 123 from 2002 until December 2005, when Local 123 merged with Teamsters Local 638. Along with his responsibilities as a business agent, Quinten serves as a trustee on the Minnesota Teamsters Construction Division Health, Welfare & Pension Funds.

Mike Hogan

Mike joined UPS in 1978 and worked as a Package Car Driver for 17 years and 12 years as a Feeder Driver before becoming a Business Agent. During his time at UPS, Mike served as Steward in both the Package Car Division and Feeder Driver Division. In 2001, he was elected as an Alternate Delegate to the IBT International Convention and then elected as Delegate to the 2006 IBT International Convention. Mike was appointed Business Agent for the Local in 2007.

Larry Mossey

A member of Local 638 since 1979, Larry has worked as a package car driver for UPS for 26 years. He has served as a Teamsters Committee Representative for 15 years and has been a Shop Steward since February 2002. In April 2004, Larry took over the responsibilities as a Local Union Trustee and was elected to that position in December 2004. Larry was elected as an alternate Delegate to the 2006 IBT International Convention. In January of 2007, Larry was appointed as Business Agent. After Larry came on as a Business Agent he resigned the Trustee position.

Scott Lecy

Scott has been a Teamster Local 638 member since 1985 and was appointed Business Agent in 2001. He was a Delegate for the 2001 International Convention and 2002 special Convention. In addition, he is a graduate of the Teamsters Leadership Academy – Washington D.C. Scott enjoys the opportunity to visit worksites and meet as many members as he can. His Local 638 worksite responsibilities include C.J. Duffy Paper, First Student, Johnson Paper, Litin Paper, St. Cloud Metro Bus, Unisource, Wilcox Paper and Xpedx.

Steve Seviola

A member of Teamsters Local 638 since 1988. Steve worked at the Startribune since Febuary 1988 til June 2011. Steve was a Teamsters Committee Representative for 10 years & shop Steward for three years.  In 2011 Steve was elected as alternate delegate to the IBT International Convention, also in July 2011 was appointed Business Agent for local 638.  Steve is looking forward to meeting the members he represents
