UPS Tentative Agreements Reached

The Teamster National Negotiating Committee has reached a tentative contract with UPS. This process started 32 weeks ago with the exchange of initial proposals and culminated on April 25th.

 

After a long and difficult process the committee negotiated increases in wages, secured pension enhancements, in addition to defeating the company’s proposal to require members covered under the UPS medical plan to pay a part of the premium, suffer a reduction in benefits and, for retirees, to incur a significant increase in monthly premiums.
